Suicide bomber kills 6 in Afghanistan in attack on ISAF convoy
12:1126/05/2009 KABUL, May 26 (RIA Novosti) - A suicide bomber attacked an International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) convoy in Afghanistan's northern province of Kapisa on Tuesday, killing at least six people, an Interior Ministry spokesman said.
The spokesman said that according to preliminary reports at least three U.S. soldiers and as many civilian passers-by were killed as the terrorist drove a car rigged with explosives into the convoy.
Afghanistan's Defense Ministry said the exact number of injured and dead has yet to be confirmed.
