KANDAHAR AIR FIELD, Afghanistan -- Soldiers of the Joint Sustainment Command-Afghanistan donned the Shoulder Sleeve Insignia-Former Wartime Service (SSI-FWTS), commonly known as a 'combat patch,' during an April 1 ceremony at KAF.
Formerly known as the 143d Expeditionary Sustainment Command, JSC-A arrived late February and currently controls movement of supplies and personnel into and throughout Afghanistan.
JSC-A meets the SSI-FWTS requirements outlined by Army regulation AR 670-1, and JSC-A soldiers are authorized to wear the insignia.
