PORT HUENEME, Calif. (NNS) -- The Department of the Navy issued a multiple award contract for integrated logistics support for the Naval Facilities Expeditionary Logistics Center (NFELC) March 4. The maximum dollar value, including the base period and four option years, for all three contracts combined is $30 million.

The contractors include AT&T Government Solutions Inc., Vienna, Va.; Computer Sciences Corp., Falls Church, Va.; and Synectic Solutions Inc., Oxnard, Calif.

"This contract consolidates the development of all logistics support elements for construction and sealift equipment and materials," said Kimberley Bryce, NFELC director, Integrated Logistics Support Management. "The product packages developed under this contract directly support the Navy Expeditionary Combat Enterprise and are direct enablers of warfighter readiness in the field. We are pleased that we now have a consolidated vehicle to provide that direct support."

The NFELC provides logistics support for the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, Naval Beach Groups and other Navy expeditionary units ashore by acquiring, fielding, mobilizing and sustaining mission-required equipment and material.

All contract work will be performed in Port Hueneme, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 2014. The three contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. Specialty Center Acquisition NAVFAC, Port Hueneme, is the contracting activity.
