Korean Central News Agency of DPRK via Korea News Service (KNS)

Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet warmongers are now staging large-scale war exercises for aggression against the DPRK in various parts of south Korea, according to south Korean Yonhap News.

On Mar. 3 the sixth special operation flying squadron of the U.S. air force and special operation flying squadron 255 under the 15th composite flying corps of the puppet air force staged what they called a "combined exchange exercise" aimed at "acquiring the special operation tactics and increasing the capability for airlifting troops and combat materiel at night." Special agents of the 5th tactical airborne corps of the puppet air force were involved in that exercise.

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet warmongers announced that the war maneuver would be under way in the military bases in Songnam, Kyonggi Province, and Taegu till Mar. 30.

Meanwhile, the first fleet of the puppet navy launched a large-scale naval maneuver in the East Sea of Korea on Mar. 3 with more than 10 warships and aircraft and huge troops involved.

In another development, special units of the puppet navy and coastal police were busy with such military exercises as a maritime blocking operation and an anti-submarine exercise, etc. to counter any "provocation in the waters along the northern limit line."

A drill for mobilizing puppet reserve forces has been under way in different parts of south Korea including Pusan and Ulsan since Mar. 2.

The bellicose forces are threatening that any person boycotting this military exercise slated to last till Nov. 9 is liable to punishment including penal servitude.

The above-said reckless war maneuvers are going on in the sky, land and seas of south Korea in the run-up to the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises aimed at invading the DPRK.
