ATK Awarded $14.4 Million Contract to Modify and Deliver Three Medevac Aircraft to the Colombian Air Force

Contract Expands ATK's Special Mission Aircraft International Portfolio

Aircraft Scheduled for Delivery by April 2009

MINNEAPOLIS, March 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alliant Techsystems announced today that it has been awarded a $14.4 million contract by the Colombian Air Force to modify and deliver three Medevac-capable aircraft to Colombia's Health and Social Services Ministry. The Ministry will use the aircraft for emergency medical evacuations of both civilian and military personnel.

The three planes, one King Air 350 and two Cessna 208B Grand Caravans, are scheduled for delivery to Colombia by April 2009. They will be modified by ATK at its Special Mission Aircraft facility in Fort Worth, Texas.
