IAI's ELTA Systems Group Awarded $300 Million

Israel Aerospace Industries’ ELTA Systems Group (IAI/ELTA) was awarded $300 million in contracts for Air Defense Radar systems in 2008 from various customers worldwide.
IAI/ELTA Systems Ltd. develops and manufactures long, medium and short range Air Defense Radar Systems. The long range and medium range radar systems are advanced Active Electronic Steering Array (AESA phased array) radars capable of detecting low radar cross section (RCS) targets from long ranges, even in the presence of heavy ground clutter and electromagnetic interference.
Their high accuracies allow them to provide target data to Surface-to-Air (S/A) weapon systems.
