Iran, Tanzania to expand defense cooperation

Tehran, Jan 21, IRNA -- Iran and Tanzania here on Wednesday signed a deal for mutual cooperation in the field of defense.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar and his Tanzanian counterpart Hussein Ali Mwinyi
at the end of the second round of their talks in Tehran.
The two sides in the meeting recalled their common historical and social background and said they are determined to consolidate world peace, stability and security by expanding mutual defense ties.
Exchange of defense and military experience as well as educational and technical delegations are among other provisions of the agreement.
