MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alliant Techsystems has been awarded an $87 million contract by the U.S. Army Sustainment Command in Rock Island, Ill., to supply various types of non-standard (non-NATO) ammunition in support of emergent requirements for Afghan National Security Forces.
