MND-B Soldier dies of wounds from small-arms fire attack
Multi-National Division – Baghdad
BAGHDAD – A Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldier died of wounds at approximately 12:45 p.m. at a Coalition force’s Combat Support Hospital Sept. 30.
The Soldier was wounded when his patrol came under small-arms fire in northern Baghdad at approximately 12:15.
The Soldier was medically evacuated by air to the medical facility, however, the Soldier later succumbed to the wounds.
The Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and official release by the Department of Defense.
