MNF-W Marine killed in SAF attack

Multi National Force – West PAO

AL ANBAR, Iraq – A Multi-National Force – West Marine was killed Aug. 14 when his unit received small-arms fire during security operations approximately 1 km east of Fallujah.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification and release by the Department of Defense.

The incident is currently under investigation.
