One U.S. Soldier killed, two wounded in IED attack in Baghdad 3rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) – PAO

BAGHDAD – One U.S. Soldier was killed and two others wounded after an improvised explosive device struck their patrol in Baghdad at approximately 9:30 p.m. Aug. 8.
The injured Soldiers were evacuated to a nearby combat hospital in Baghdad.

The name of the deceased Soldier is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
