The U.S. Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Command has chosen Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX), to supply Advanced Flight Control Computers for the continued upgrade of Sikorsky UH-60A/L helicopters.
Product engineering and program management for the five-year agreement will be performed in Windsor Locks, Conn., with component sub-assembly and final assembly being completed at Hamilton Sundstrand's Phoenix, Ariz., facility. The contract is expected to generate $45 million in revenue for Hamilton Sundstrand.
