ELTA Systems Group Awarded $27.3 Million in Contracts for Airborne Maritime Surveillance Radars

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI)'s ELTA Systems Group and Subsidiary, was awarded four contracts for EL/M-2022A Airborne Maritime Surveillance radars from Far-Eastern, European and South-American countries. The total value of these contracts is $27.3 million.
ELTA Systems will supply its new generation of multi-mode airborne radars that provide a cost-effective force-multiplier solution for operational missions including:
* Anti Surface and Littoral Warfare operations
* Anti Submarine warfare
* Maritime Surveillance and EEZ patrol
* Drug Enforcement operations
* Coast Guard and Fisheries patrol
* Search and Rescue Location and Support
ELTA Systems’ radars offer high-end, field proven performances and capabilities including:
* Long Range Surveillance
* Optimized detection of small targets , close to shore in adverse sea conditions
* Range Profile, SAR and ISAR Classification Modes
* Air-to-Surface and Air-to-Air Modes
* Weather and Navigation Modes
