SAIC Awarded $46 Million Contract by the U.S. Army Contracting Agency

Company to Support the Army's G-8 Force Development

SAN DIEGO and MCLEAN, Va., May 19, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a contract from the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) to support the Army Equipping Enterprise System (AE2S). This prime, single-award contract will support G-8 Force Development and other HQDA agencies. The contract has a one year base period of performance, four one-year options and a total contract value of more than $46 million. Work will be performed primarily in the National capital region.

Under the contract, SAIC will provide services including analytic support; software, portal and database development; and training to integrate the Army Flow Model, Force Development Investment Information System, and Continuous Early Validation applications into a common language and server environment.
