MND-B Soldier killed by small-arms fire (Baghdad)

Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD – A Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldier was killed at approximately 3:30 p.m. March 15 after being attacked by small-arms fire in southwestern Baghdad in combat operations.

The Soldier was shot by a terrorist at approximately 2:30 p.m. and was medically evacuated to a Coalition forces combat support hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.

The Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
