MILTON, Fla (NNS) -- At approximately 3:45 p.m. March 14, a T-34C Turbomentor, a two-seat training aircraft, assigned to Training Squadron 6 based out of Whiting Field in Milton, crashed approximately 60 miles north of Birmingham, Ala. while conducting routine flight training. The two pilots suffered fatal injuries.

Names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
