
SAIC Awarded Task Order to Support NSWC-Dahlgren
SAN DIEGO and MCLEAN, Va., Jan 29, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAI) announced today it won a task order from the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., to provide a wide range of support to the Surface Ship Undersea Warfare (USW) office.
This cost-plus-fixed-fee, SEAPORT-e task order has a one-year base period and four one-year options, with an approximate total value of $48 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in Dahlgren, Va.
Under this order, SAIC will provide program management support, systems and software engineering, systems integration and testing, and documentation and training support for the USW combat, control and situational awareness systems.
