AIR FORCE

L-3 Communications Government Services of Chantilly, Va., is being awarded a indefinite/delivery/indefinite quantity contract for $136,528,851. This action provides for Academic, Training and Exercise Contract Support (ATECS). The requirement is for the contractor to furnish qualified personnel to conduct operational level, and in some cases tactical level command and control instruction/academics, training, curriculum development, exercise planning and execution, Operational Command Training Program, and experimentation support to the 505the Command and Control Wing in order to build the predominant air and space command and control capability for joint and combined warfighters through training, testing, exercising, and experimentation under the direction of the United States Air Force Warfare Center, Nellis AFB, NV. At this time $25,498,654 has been obligated. ACC/AMIC OL-B, Hurlburt Field Fla., is the contracting activity (FA4890-08-D-0001, Task order 0001).

Whitesell-Green Inc., W.G. Yates & Sons, of Biloxi, Miss., is being awarded a contract for $28,026,000. This action provides for non-appropriated funded visiting quarters, and consolidated club. Appropriate funded Joint Operations Planning Center. At this time $20,773,000 has been obligated. 1 SOCONS/LGCB, Hurlburt Field, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA4417-08-C-0001).

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Corp. of Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a contract modification for $11,071,200. This is contract modification to the existing Space Based Infrared System High Component engineering, manufacturing, and development contract. This contract action primarily provides Initial Porting to Advanced IBM UNIX (AIX) Operating System. Activities consist of installing the data processing equipment requirement to establish the porting environment, changing appropriate source coding, compiling Geosynchronous Earth Orbit (GEO) initial operation (GIO) source code on AIX, and making the recompiled AIX GIO source code available to the Chlorofluorocarbons (GFC) development effort. At this time $66,000 has been obligated. SMC, Space based Infrared Systems Wing, Los Angeles Air Force Base Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-95-0017, P00445).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

U.S. Foodservice, Livermore, Calif., is being awarded a maximum $14,549,396.00 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for full line food distribution. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Job Corps. There are no other locations of performance. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were nine proposals originally solicited with three responses. Date of performance completion is Jan. 14, 2010. The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM300-08-D-3228).

Wolverine World Wide, Rockford, Mich., is being awarded a maximum $5,111,058.24 firm fixed price, indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract for hot weather boots. Using service is Marine Corps. There are no other locations of performance. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were six proposals originally solicited with six responses. Date of performance completion is Nov. 13, 2008. The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM1C1-08-D-1012).

Lee Escher Oil Co., Inc., Coachella, Calif.,* is being awarded a minimum $11,785,973.91 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for biodiesel fuel. Using services are Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Department of Defense. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 28 proposals originally solicited with 21 responses. Date of performance completion is Aug. 31, 2009. The contracting activity is Defense Energy Supply Center (DESC), Fort Belvoir, Va. (SPO600-05-D-4530).

Labatt Food Service, Inc., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a maximum $9,000,000.00 firm fixed price, indefinite quantity contract for full line food distributor. Using services are Army, and Air Force. There are no other locations of performance. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is exercising option one of four one-year options. There were five proposals originally solicited with three responses. Date of performance completion is Nov. 17, 2008. The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM300-08-D-3212).

Jianas Brothers Packaging Co., Kansas City, Mo.,** is being awarded a maximum $7,369,320.00 firm fixed price, total set aside contract for food components for Meals Ready to Eat program. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Federal Civilian Agencies. There are no other locations of performance. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is exercising option year two. There were seven proposals originally solicited with five responses. Date of performance completion is Nov. 13, 2008. The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), Philadelphia, Pa. (SPM3S1-06-D-Z119).
