T-45 Crashes Near NAS Kingsville

KINGSVILLE, Texas (NNS) -- A T-45 Goshawk attached to Training Air Wing 2 crashed about 2 miles north of Naval Air Station (NAS) Kingsville Oct. 1.
The pilots were recovered by helicopter and were taken to Christus Spohn Hospital Kleberg for evaluation.
NAS Kingsville Crash and Rescue responded to the scene.
The mishap is under investigation.
Training Air Wing 2 has discontinued flight operations until further notice.
