Secretary of Defense Robert G. Gates announced the following Department of Defense Senior Executive Service appointments and reassignment:

Donald G. Diggs appointed to director, command and control policy to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Networks and Information Integration), Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington, D.C.

Donald L. Damstetter appointed to director, resources to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict and Interdependent Capabilities), Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington, D.C.

Michael W. Coulter appointed to special assistant to the under secretary of defense (policy), Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Policy), Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington, D.C.

Cheryl J. Roby, deputy assistant secretary of defense (programs and evaluation) reassigned to principal deputy assistant secretary of defense (networks and information integration), Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington, D.C.
