Task Force Lightning Soldiers attacked
Multi-National Division – North PAO

TIKRIT, Iraq – A Task Force Lightning Soldier died of wounds sustained from enemy gunfire in Baghdad Province, Thursday.

One Soldier was treated locally for superficial wounds and returned to duty.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
