
L-3 Awarded Role on General Services Administration's Alliant Contract
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 2007--L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) announced today that it has been selected as one of 29 companies to compete for projects under the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) "Alliant" government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC), which has a ceiling value of $50 billion. Alliant will be available for all federal agencies to obtain IT services, products and solutions for the next ten years.
Through the GSA's Alliant program, a new multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract that has a five-year base and five one-year options, L-3 will provide a variety of Information Technology (IT) services to both civilian and defense agencies. Included among the services are infrastructure development, application services and IT management in support of federal agencies' integrated IT solutions requirements.
