Task Force Lightning Soldier attacked
Multi-National Division – North PAO

TIKRIT, Iraq – One Task Force Lightning Soldier died as a result of injuries sustained from an explosion near his vehicle while conducting operations in Diyala province, Friday.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification and release by the Department of Defense.
