Task Force Lightning Soldier killed
Multi-National Division – North PAO

TIKRIT, Iraq – One Task Force Lightning Soldier was killed when a helicopter went down in Ninewah Province, July 4.

One other Soldier was injured during the incident and was transported to a Coalition medical facility for treatment.

The incident is under investigation.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification and release by the Department of Defense.
