Improvised explosive device strikes MND-B patrol
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO
BAGHDAD — A Multi-National Division-Baghdad Soldier was killed when a combat patrol was struck by a roadside bomb in an eastern section of the Iraqi capital June 28. One other Soldier was wounded in the attack.
Elements of this unit conduct continuous clearing and targeted raid operations in this area of Baghdad in an effort to provide security to the Iraqi people and disrupt militia activities.
The deceased Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
