MND-B patrol struck by improvised explosive device
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO
BAGHDAD — A Multi-National Division-Baghdad Soldier was killed when a roadside bomb detonated near a Coalition vehicle during combat operations in an eastern section of Baghdad June 25. Three other Soldiers were wounded in the attack.
Elements from this unit continue to conduct clearing operations designed to locate and disrupt insurgent activities in the area.
The deceased Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
