Task Force Lightning Soldiers attacked
Multi-National Division – North PAO
TIKRIT, Iraq – One Task Force Lightning Soldier was killed as a result of injuries sustained from an explosion while conducting operations in Diyala Province, June 6.
One Soldier was also wounded and transported to a Coalition medical facility for treatment.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification and release by the Department of Defense.
