Task Force Lightning Soldiers attacked
Multi-National Division – North PAO

TIKRIT, Iraq – Two Task Force Lightning Soldiers were killed when their patrol was attacked with an IED while conducting operations in Ninewah Province, Saturday.

Three Soldiers were also wounded and transported to a Coalition medical facility for treatment.

Names of the deceased are being withheld pending next of kin notification and release by the Department of Defense.
