
Thales Statement: U.S. DoD June 18 Announcement

The U.S. government announcement indicated that Thales Communications had been awarded a "firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity" contract for software-defined, handheld radios. In fact, what was awarded is an enabling contract that specifies Thales Communications as one of two suppliers for future awards of formal delivery orders from the U.S. Department of Defense.
