Insurgent attack targets MND-B Soldiers
Multi-National Division – Baghdad Public Affairs

BAGHDAD – Two MND-B Soldiers were killed and six others were wounded in an insurgent attack in southern Baghdad May 3.

Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldiers supporting Operation Fardh Al-Qanoon are assisting Iraqi security forces establish the conditions for a stable and self-reliant Iraq.

Soldiers operating in this area of the Iraqi capital continue to conduct combined security operations with their Iraqi security force counterparts in an effort to reduce sectarian violence and set the conditions for the improvement of essential services, economic growth and the transition to Iraqi-lead security operations.

The deceased Soldiers’ names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
