ROADSIDE BOMB STRIKES MND-B PATROL

BAGHDAD — While conducting a combat security patrol, a Multi-National Division - Baghdad Soldier was killed and four others were wounded when an improvised explosive device detonated in a northern part of the Iraqi capital May 14.

During the past few weeks, elements of this unit have detained 14 suspected insurgents during four clearing operations conducted in the area. The arrest of these individuals helps reduce the threat of insurgent attacks and aids in providing a more secure and safe living environment for the Iraqi people.
