- Navy Awards General Dynamics $47 Million For Sub Maintenance and Modernization Work 07 May 2007 -- The U.S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics Electric Boat a $46.7 million contract to perform routine maintenance and modernization work on the USS Alexandria (SSN-757), a Los Angeles-class attack submarine. Electric Boat is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD).
