Roadside bomb targets MND-B patrol
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD — An MND-B Soldier died and two others were wounded when an improvised explosive device detonated near their patrol in an eastern section of the Iraqi capital April 11.

Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldiers supporting Operation Fardh Al-Qanoon are assisting Iraqi Security Forces establish the conditions for a stable and self-reliant Iraq.

Soldiers from this unit have recently conducted targeted raid operations in an effort to provide security to this area of the city and disrupt insurgent and militia activities.

The deceased Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
