Syrian defense delegation arrives in Tehran

Syrian defense delegation including officials of Syrian National Defence College arrived in Tehran on Sunday.

The delegation is being led by Major General Yahiya L. Sulayman.

During their one week stay in Iran, the Syrian officials will tour the scientific, research, educational and cultural centers.

The Syrian defense officials will visit Iran's Foreign Ministry Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), Iran Diplomacy Museum, Malek-Ashtar Industrial University, Defence Ministry exhibit on defensive hardware and Imam Ali (AS) University.

The Syrian mission will also visit Iranian defense sciences research center, Air and Space Agency research centers, Imam Hossein (AS) University and National Library.

The Syrian officials will hold talks with their counterparts and attend ceremony to mark Islamic Republic Iran Army Day on April 18.

The Syrian delegation will visit mausoleum of the late Imam Khomeini to pay tribute to the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
