Route clearing mission ends with IED strike
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO
BAGHDAD – During the month of February, Soldiers from Multi-National Division - Baghdad have successfully found 150 weapons caches and 417 improvised explosive devices, further ensuring the security of Iraqi citizens.
On Feb. 27, an MND-B unit struck an improvised explosive device while conducting a route clearance mission southwest of the Iraqi capital, killing three Soldiers and wounding another.
The deceased Soldiers’ names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
