Sacrifices made for Baghdad security
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD – During the month of February, Soldiers from Multi-National Division - Baghdad have successfully found 94 weapons caches and 196 improvised explosive devices, further ensuring the security of Iraqi citizens.

On Feb. 19, an MND-B unit was conducting a combat security patrol southwest of the Iraqi capital when an improvised explosive device detonated, killing three Soldiers and wounding two others.

The deceased Soldiers’ names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
