SAIC Awarded Army ITES-2S Contract

SAN DIEGO and MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAI) announced today that it has won a prime contract by the Army Contract Agency, Information Technology, E- Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center (ITEC4) to provide services under the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services (ITES-2S) program. This indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract has a three-year base period of performance and three two-year option periods. The total ceiling value for all 16 multiple awardees, collectively, is $20 billion.

The ITES-2S contract has been established as a broad and flexible means to meet the Army's changing information technology (IT) requirements. SAIC will provide a comprehensive range of IT services across many functional areas to support the Army's enterprise infrastructure and information structure challenges worldwide. Specific services include business process reengineering, information systems security, information assurance, enterprise design, systems operation, integration, consolidation and maintenance, education and training, program and project management, and network support. The ITES-2S contract vehicle is available to all DoD and federal agencies.

SAIC has a long history of working with the Army, including such activities as developing solutions, assisting with its transformation efforts, and helping to meet its most demanding requirements. SAIC will coordinate the allocation of task orders among its team members to ensure that the Army receives the ideal mix of capabilities for the identified scope of work.
