IMMEDIATE RELEASE | February 05, 2007 |
The Department of Defense announced today the death of two soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. They died Feb. 1 in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries suffered from a vehicular accident. They were assigned to the 57th Military Police Company, 8th Military Police Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, U.S. Army Pacific, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
Killed were:
Pfc. David C. Armstrong, 21, of Zanesville, Ohio.
Pfc. Kenneth T. Butler, 21, of East Liverpool, Ohio.
The incident is under investigation.
