MND-B patrol targeted
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD – An attack against a Multi-National Division – Baghdad patrol killed a Soldier west of the Iraqi capital Dec. 22.

The Soldiers came under sporadic small arms and indirect fire during a patrol. One Soldier was killed and another wounded.

During the month of December, the unit targeted in this attack has successfully found, responded to, and disabled multiple improvised explosive devises, helping to dismantle the enemy’s primary weapon of choice against Iraqi security and coalition forces.

The deceased Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
