Roadside Bomb Strikes MND-B Escort Patrol
Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD – An improvised explosive device detonated near a Multi-National Division - Baghdad patrol, killing one Soldier south of the Iraqi capital Dec. 20.

The mounted combat patrol was escorting personnel to their forward operating base when a roadside bomb detonated. Three Soldiers were wounded and one Soldier killed in the blast.

The deceased Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
