JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (NNS) -- The new command logo for Fleet Readiness Center, Southeast (FRC-SE), formerly Naval Air Depot (NADEP) Jacksonville, was unveiled during a ceremony Dec. 14 in front of Building 101 here.

Capt. Tim Matthews, FRC-SE executive officer and Command Master Chief Richard Grace, senior enlisted leader, performed the honor to allow ceremony guests the first look at the new crest.

Following a contest to design the best logo, and approval from Commander, Fleet Readiness Center, the final product combined elements from two of the winning entries submitted by materials engineer Luis Carney and and Aircrew Survival Equipmentman 2nd Class Mark Klefman, both of FRC-SE.

FRC-SE public affairs specialist and graphic artist Victor Pitts completed the final design. The logo includes representations of Key West and all of the aircraft, including rotary wing, the command services.

The new logo represents a further step for FRC-SE, which was established in a ceremony Oct. 20.
