Two Task Force Lightning Soldiers killed, two others wounded

Multi-National Division – North PAO

TIKRIT, Iraq – Two Task Force Lightning Soldiers assigned to 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, were killed Sunday when a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle while conducting operations in Salah ad Din Province.

Two other Soldiers were wounded in the blast and were transported to a Coalition forces medical treatment facility.

The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
