BAE SYSTEMS RECEIVES $27.3 MILLION CONTRACT MODIFICATION FOR SYSTEMS TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND LOGISTICS SERVICES

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – BAE Systems has received a $27.3 million contract modification from the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command for systems technical support and logistics services for Bradley Combat Systems.

“This effort continues our excellent field service support in returning vehicles back over to the troops, as well as providing new equipment training to vehicle users,” said Barbara Handly, systems technical support manager for BAE Systems.

Under the contract, BAE Systems will supply training services in the way of New Equipment Training Teams (NETT) to support the training of new Bradley crews receiving Bradley A3 and ODS based vehicles over the next year. The training will be provided to both active force and National Guard units receiving Bradleys in 2007.

The work on this contract will be performed in Santa Clara, Calif. under fiscal year 2007 funding.
