DoD Identifies Army Casualty


           

 

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Pfc. Kevin J. Ellenburg, 20, of Middleburg, Fla., died Nov. 1 in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Bradley Fighting Vehicle. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
