CACI Awarded Prime Contract for $1.9 Billion Design and Engineering Support Program

Company Positioned to Expand Core Engineering Services Business

Arlington, VA, October 5, 2006 - CACI International Inc (NYSE:CAI) announced today that it has been awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Air Force to support the Design and Engineering Support Program (DESP II) task order contract. DESP II is a multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract under which all prime contractors will compete for task orders until 2010, or until the program's ceiling amount of $1.9 billion is reached. The contract provides for the acquisition of engineering and technical services for the Air Force Materiel Command and the Army Tank Automotive Command, and may be used by all other Air Force and Army commands, Defense Department agencies, and other government organizations to obtain CACI services. CACI had been a subcontractor on the previous DESP effort and, with the new award, increases its potential to expand its core engineering services business.

CACI anticipates performing a broad range of engineering work under DESP II. This includes providing solutions for designing systems, applications, and support equipment; analyzing engineering problems and proposing new approaches; developing and testing prototypes; integrating software and hardware; training users; and providing lifecycle maintenance support.

According to CACI President of U.S. Operations Paul Cofoni, "CACI's comprehensive engineering solutions are a good match with the Design and Engineering Support Program II. We expect to use DESP II extensively as a contract vehicle to help our legacy Air Force customers, as well as other customers throughout the federal government, rapidly and efficiently acquire needed CACI services to meet mission-critical goals."

Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, CACI Chairman, President, and CEO, said, "CACI's award of the Design and Engineering Support Program II contract strengthens our presence within the defense community and continues our growth into the top tiers of federal government contracting. Our selection to provide these important services further demonstrates CACI's commitment to supporting the highest priorities within our national defense and America's homeland security."
