Iran-Russia-Lavrov
There is no proof for Iran or Syrian intervention in Israeli war with Hezbollah, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday.
Lavrov told CNN that although Iran and Syria support Islamic resistance to Israeli attacks, there has been no direct involvement in any conflict.
He added, "We have not received any proof on direct involvement in the conflict."
He said that his country has daily contacts with Syria, Iran, the Zionist regime, Palestinians, Hamas and Hezbollah through direct channels.
According to Lavrov, Russia also cooperates with Arab countries to fulfill UN missions in the Middle East.
The Russian foreign minister added some Hezbollah and Hamas leaders live in Syria so Damascus officials can mediate to end the conflict.
