| June 22, 2006 Release Number: 06-06-02CE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FOUR MARINES KILLED IN OPERATIONS CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – Four Marines died due to enemy action on June 20 while operating in Al Anbar Province. Three Marines were assigned to Regimental Combat Team 5 and died after their vehicle hit an improvised explosive device. One Marine was assigned to 1st Marine Expeditionary Force and died after being attacked while conducting security operations. The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
