Pakistan-US Copters Attack
American gunship helicopters on Monday bombed Pakistani territory along the Afghan border, injuring three people, TV channels reported.
Eight other people went missing after the bombing, Geo television reported.
The gunship helicopters shelled Angor Ada area, some 60 kilometers west of Wana, the headquarters of South Waziristan in the afternoon.
Geo reported that it is feared that the missing people have been killed.
But there was no official confirmation of the attack and the casualties.
Correspondents in the area have confirmed the shelling but said the US helicopters shelled the Pak-Afghan border area.
The injured were shifted to Wana hospital, they said.
Angor Adda area had once regarded as one of the last strongholds of foreign militants.
Geo television reported that the US helicopters violated Pakistani territory and shelled a mountainous area when the laborers were extracting stones.
