CONTRACTS


ARMY

 

            ITT Federal Services International Inc., Colorado Springs, Colo., was awarded on April 28, 2006, an $11,060,644 increment as part of an $81,192,838 firm-fixed-price contract for Armed Guard Services.  Work will be performed at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2008.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 28 bids solicited on Dec. 23, 2002, and six bids were received.  The Wiesbaden Contracting Center, Germany, is the contracting activity (DABN01-03-C-0010).

 

            Turner Construction Co., Arlington, Va., was awarded on May 2, 2006, an $8,650,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a military amputee training center.  Work will be performed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed by July 3, 2007.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  There were 160 bids solicited on Oct. 25, 2005, and two bids were received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Md., is the contracting activity (W912DR-06-C-0017).

 

NAVY

 

            Burns and Roe Services Corp., Virginia Beach, Va. is being awarded a $6,429,769 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity award option contract for utility services at the U.S. Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.   This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $66,915,462.   Work will be performed at the U.S. Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and is expected to be completed by June 2007 (June 2016 with options).   Contract funds in the amount of $$2,198,100 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website with two offers received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic, Norfolk, Va. is the contracting activity (N62470-06-D-4614).

 

AIR FORCE

 

            Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $14,724,322 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for software upgrade tape 6C and tape 12C (SWUP 06) flight test.  This effort supports foreign military sales to Australia, Israel, Netherlands, and Finland.  At this time, total funds have been obligated.  This work will be complete December 2006.  The Headquarters Medium Range Missile Systems Group, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA8675-05-C-0070/P00021).
