
General Dynamics Awarded U.S. Army Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services (ITES-2S) Contract
Mass. – The U.S. Army has awarded General Dynamics Network Systems one of eleven contracts to provide services under the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions - 2 Services (ITES-2S) program. The Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract has a performance period of nine years with a $20 billion ceiling. General Dynamics Network Systems is a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD).
Under the ITES-2S contract, General Dynamics will compete to provide information technology (IT) services to the Army in support of its enterprise infrastructure and infostructure goals. General Dynamics will offer a broad range of command, control, communications, computers and information management solutions, including: Enterprise Design, Integration and Consolidation; Information Assurance; Information Technology Services; Network Support; Information Technology Services; Program/Product Management; and Business Process Reengineering.
ITES-2S was awarded to General Dynamics by the Army Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS), which is responsible for program management of communications and computer infrastructure within the Army.
